A Material And Labor Record book (MLR113) can help you keep accurate records of all materials used and the employee's time on the job.
Before quoting a job, submit the plans for the bids from sub-contractor using a Letter Of Transmittal (LT584).
Check boxs on the form clearly identify the contents and purpose of the transmittal.
Keep part 2 with the job file in a Job Folder (DF277) to remind you which sub-contractors you contacted for the bids.
